Dear Kenwood Customer: Easy programming for the TH-F6A.... Step 1 Press the A/B and select band A Step 2 Press the VFO key Step 3 Press the ENT key Step 4 Select your desired frequency (example 446.650 from the keypad) Step 5 Select your offset by pressing F key, and then press the REV/SHIFT/8 key. Everytime you press the F key and REV it will change from + to - to simplex. Step 6 Select your TONE/ENCODE/PL by press the TONE/TSEL/7 key, a T will now appear in the display. Step 7 You may select your PL/TONE by pressing the F key, and now press T.SEL/TONE/7 the display will now show TONE FREQ with a tone flashing. Turn the main tuning knob to the desired PL/TONE, to store this tone please toggle the MENU joystick to the right where it shows OK to store it. Step 8 Storing all the information above into MEMORY, press the F key the memory number in the right side of the display will start flashing, turn the main tuning knob to the desired memory. You may now store the information into that memory by pressing the MR/M.IN/C key. To recall the memory just press the MR key again. If you need further assistance, please e-mail us again.
